Array of Black Fire

  The Array of Black Fire (sometimes just called the Array) is a special inscription made by overlaying an Equilibrium Trigger onto a Reverse Trigger. In order for the Array to activate, it must be properly drawn with a specific ink (which comes only from a flower grown in Agrideī ). But even if you have this ink (usually contained within a Cosmic Pen), that does not necessarily mean that the Array of Black Fire will activate. The air itself must also contain a traceable presence of gaseous Carmotium, an otherwise-harmless gas that exists in the air of Agrideī. When a person steps onto the inscription, the Array of Black Fire reacts with the Carmotium to activate in a burst of ethereal fire. These black flames do not physically injure a person or anything nearby, but they instead burn away at the connection between a person's body and soul.  Even if the Array of Black Fire fails to break that connection, it exhausts the target and depletes their energy. The Fragments of Omnipotence

 In the universe of Interitus 1, the powers of God (also called the fragments of Omnipotence) are controlled as weapons, except that each power can only be held by a single person. These powers are typically converged into a single person, forming one power called Omnipotence. For example, in  A World without Misery , a man named Caelicola controls all four fragments. While these powers are not physical weapons, they bond to a body rather than a soul. If the body of their wielder dies, then the power is simply erased. However, a wielder of Omnipotence can willingly transfer their power to another. While it is ordinarily passed from mentor to student, others may try to coerce wielders into giving away their power.  In that these powers are the weapons of God, they break the laws of physics.  The Rulebook for Interitus: Manifest is subject to change in minor ways, primarily for the sake of clarification. Recent updates will be catalogued below. January 24, 2026: FAQ updated. Added Game Modes section. Changed some card selections. Clarified "end of turn" and "start of turn" effects Dec 23rd, 2025: FAQ Updated July 31st, 2025: Updated card images, board images, logo, some fringe FAQ cases and landmark details June 2nd, 2025: Updated card images because card appearance has changed. April 2nd, 2025: Massive updates to the rulebook, too many to list. No rules changed, but clarity added. Cards now have symbols to help distinguish them.
